Corina has a diverse background in social work, insurance, and running her own business - all providing a wealth of experience that will help maintain our high level of customer satisfaction among our clients. She specializes in small group benefits, sales, and customer service. Corina has an active Life, Health, and Accident License through California.
She's worked at American Fidelity Assurance as an Account Representative from 2006 to 2009 - where she provided voluntary financial plans and supplemental insurance plans to school district employees.
From there, she worked at Home Start, Inc. as a Health Insurance Specialist. Her focus here revolved around helping families with children under 5 years old obtain healthcare and insurance assistance through various programs. From there, she advanced to a Care Coordinator and eventually, a Family Support Specialist Supervisor. All of these levels within the system gave her an inside look of healthcare and administration needed to improve child development.
Corina started her own Family Daycare business in 2015 providing extensive experience in running a small business, compliance, regulations, licensing laws, and marketing. It gave her a new appreciation of all growing businesses and what's required to make them thrive.
In her free time, Corina loves to spend time with her husband and children. She enjoys public speaking and plans to join Toastmasters for added enjoyment.
Corina earned her Bachelor’s degree in Economics from San Diego State University in 2005.
