A Better Way to Compare Health Plans During Open Enrollment
Our agency has been beta testing a new quoting tool that helps both agents (in servicing their clients) and employers (when they offer more than one plan to their employees).
Since we already understand the plan options and premiums, we've added this decision support tool to help identify the best value for an employee based on their budget, health status, and anticipated out-of-pocket claims.
Open Enrollment
Right now, we're servicing our Individual/Family clients buying through Covered California or directly with an insurance carrier. Open Enrollment ends for Individuals on January 31st, 2018.
It's also Open Enrollment for senior citizens to enroll, review or change their Medicare plan - and it ends December 7th, 2017.
Lastly, small businesses can obtain health insurance for their employees anytime throughout the year. But if they want tax credits through the government, now is a good time to explore their options. Covered California is loosening the requirements until December 15th, 2017.
Who Can BenefitCompare Help?
It's great for licensed Independent agents. It allows us to bring added value to our clients. And it works for any company offering multiple health insurance plans (whether they have an agent or not).
You can use the tool for free (no credit card required) or reach out to BenefitCompare for a demo and see how it will help your employees.
As always, if you have any questions on Open Enrollment, reach out to us here.
